RECALL: Graco SnugRide Turn & Slide Infant Car Seat
I’ll admit, I didn’t have “Graco Recall” on my Easter Bingo card, but today Graco announced a voluntary recall of all SnugRide Turn & Slide car seats due to a structural issue with its base. The issue was identified during a post-production laboratory test.
This recall affects all SnugRide Turn & Slide infant car seats, extra bases, and travel systems, sold in the United States from January 2026 through March 2026. Products were sold at Amazon, Babylist, Target, Walmart, and directly from Graco’s website.
No other Graco SnugRide infant car seats are affected by this recall.
If you own a Turn & Slide, STOP using the base immediately. The structural issue is with the base. If you don’t have a different car seat to use in the meantime, you can install the Turn & Slide without the base using a seatbelt. It’s not convenient, but it’s a safe option. Refer to the instructions in the Turn & Slide manual for an installation without the base.
As soon as you confirm that your product is recalled, complete the recall registration process. Since the recall issue doesn’t have a remedy at the moment, Graco is offering a few replacement options for consumers with recalled Turn and Slide seats.
